Fundraising is essential to the development of an organization to achieve the objectives stated in the mission. Thanks to donors and fundraising initiatives organizations can make a difference in various areas.

In this session we will focus on some fundraising actions that also take into consideration the current scenario we are experiencing due to the pandemic.

Nicoletta Madia
Nicoletta Madia is the Community Manager of the World Duchenne Organization. She also works as project manager at the Centro Clinico NeMO of Rome, paediatric area, a Center focused on neuromuscular diseases and at Duchenne Data Foundation a worldwide collaboration in order to enhance the understanding of the course of DMD/BMD. Prior to this, she was the Head of Fundraising and communication for Parent Project Italy from 2011–2018, and Fundraiser for Manitese, an NGO focused on international cooperation, from 2008 –2011. With over a decade of specialised fundraising and communication knowledge, Nicoletta is particularly focused on communication, project development and community building of patient advocacy groups.
